Purchase Justisse Method Materials

The Justisse Method User’s Guides are your resources for mastering body literacy. With separate versions for the symptothermal and mucus-only variations of the method, these guidebooks are complete with anatomical illustrations, infographics, and sample charts to help you learn to observe and chart the scientifically verified biomarkers that indicate times of fertility and infertility throughout the menstrual cycle. Pedagogical features like colour codes and detailed tables of content make these books user-friendly references for Justisse Method users.

To chart your cycle with the Justisse Method, you can choose our beautiful paper journals (available soon) with empty charts and quick reference guidelines, or use the updated Justisse Method template in the Read Your Body app. Although the books can be used as a general resource to better understand your menstrual cycle, they are not meant for self-teaching. To effectively learn and use the method, working with a certified Justisse Method instructor is always recommended.

Your purchase of a Justisse Method User’s Guide supports a vision: A world where every person has the body literacy they need to make informed, empowered and autonomous decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. Your investment helps to sustain global access to fertility awareness information and education, and fund an initiative to translate materials into a variety of languages. Thank you for being part of our community of method users!

If you feel aligned with our vision and mission and appreciate the work we do, please consider making a donation to Justisse College in addition to your purchase. Click here to donate!

Methodological updates

The updated guidebooks published in 2025 reflect the latest updates to the JM guidelines, including the following:

  • Explicit differentiation between the symptothermal and mucus-only versions, with separate guidelines clearly laid out in all materials, including the separate guidebooks

  • Improved standardization of both versions, with “perfect use” clearly presented and easily upheld.

  • Standardization of the vulvovaginal sensation as part of the cervical mucus observations.

  • Emphasis on and increased sensitivity to the basic infertile pattern and point-of-change that opens the fertile window.

  • Updated guidelines for using the coloured stamps.

  • Emphasis on separate preovulatory and postovulatory guidelines and clear-cut steps for confirming ovulation in both versions

  • The addition of a dedicated fertile window row in the symptothermal charts
